It's Arbor Day....go out and plant a Creepy Tree!

There is nothing like having a really creepy tree around the house during Halloween. Go out and plant some creep into your landscape today!

  2. Didn't I read in an older post that you were training some spooky trees as they grew at your home? How is that coming? Always thought that was a pretty novel idea.

    1. You did indeed. I have a Japanese wicked willow or corkscrew willow as the focal point of my yard haunt. It grows like crazy and I have to trim it at least twice a year. The trimmings I use for back drops in bunches. I also have a Redbud tree with its skeletal branches and near black bark it looks great for Halloween. Also added a midnight blood bush that has red leaves turning black by the fall. We also have 4 Bradford pears that have amazing yellow, red, and orange leaves for fall.

  3. I loved all these trees!!!

    I really miss Blogging and need to get back to it on a more regular basis. Blogger keeps giving me a fit trying to upload pics so I am trying to find another venue to Blog on. *sigh*

    1. That is easily fixed. Just sign up for a google+ account and it will auto size all your photos and (in essence) give you unlimited upload space! Let me know when you are ready to get back in the saddle and I will tame the old grey mare that is Blogger!
